President Donald Trump suggested in a news conference that Ukraine was responsible for Russia’s invasion of the country three years ago, arguing Kyiv could have made a deal to avoid the conflict.
Trump’s comments came after Zelenskyy said in a media conference on a visit to Turkey that "we don’t want anyone making decisions behind our backs and I think this is fair."
