A driver was hospitalized after a crash involving a semi-truck on Interstate 95 in Fort Lauderdale Thursday morning.
Officials said the driver and only occupant was trapped inside with serious injuries, and a rescue team worked to extricate him. Minutes later, a man appeared to be placed onto a stretcher and taken to the hospital.
