A deputy of the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office was arrested by Miami Police after he allegedly met a woman at E11even nightclub, went back to his home with her and then battered her.
Lt. Daniel Chala, 54, was booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Monday on charges of battery and false imprisonment, records showed. But in a bond court hearing on Tuesday, Judge Mindy Glazer only found probable cause for battery.
