Gavin McKenna, a University of Miami student turned entrepreneur, and his team have brought a slice of the Big Apple to the Sunshine State with their famer’s market venture, Barnyard Bagel Co. With the support of UM dining services, this group of students transformed their passion for authentic New York-style bagel sandwiches into a thriving business at UM’s on-campus Farmer’s Market. Each week, Barnyard Bagel Co. imports the finest bagels from New York to craft mouthwatering bagel sandwiches that have become a hit among students longing for a taste of home.
