Did Karen Read kill her Boston police officer boyfriend or was she framed? We’re still awaiting a jury’s verdict, despite the body reporting that it remained deadlocked Monday.
After deliberations entered their fifth day, word came down that jurors again said they remain deadlocked.
The judge then delivered the jury Tuey-Rodriguez instructions, which are often read to juries that are unable to reach a unanimous decision. The instructions tell the jurors to trust in their ability to judge the case and each juror to reconsider their beliefs.
