A 2-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after police said he shot himself in the leg with a gun he took from his mother’s purse in Miami Gardens early Wednesday.
Miami Gardens Police officials said officers responded shortly after 1:30 a.m. to a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound involving a toddler.
