Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to speak from the Everglades immigration detention center dubbed "Alligator Alcatraz" at 9 a.m. Friday.
His office says he will be joined by Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner Wilton Simpson, Florida Department of Financial Services Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingogli.
