Almost two weeks after she was reported missing, the body of 81-year-old Carol Tormey was discovered in a Miramar canal on Wednesday night.
Authorities also found Tormey’s 2018 black Chevy Colorado submerged in the water. Police responded to the area near Southwest 196th Avenue, south of Pembroke Road, after fishermen discovered the body in the canal.
