A Brazilian man is facing charges after he allegedly pointed a green laser at planes near Miami International Airport on Christmas Day. An American Airlines pilot called police after he saw Francisco Tasherra, 45, shining a laser at his plane from a hotel, according to a police report. He was booked into the jail and has since bonded out. It is a federal crime to point lasers at airdaft.
