Dr. JoNell Potter is the founder and Director of the THRIVE Clinic, a Miami health clinic specially designed to meet the needs of survivors of human trafficking. Dr. Potter is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and the Chief of the Women’s HIV Service, leading the clinical program for women living with HIV. Dr. Potter helped design clinical support SERVICES for pregnant women LIVING WITH HIV at the dawn of the AIDS epidemic, and has spent her career addressing the health needs of diverse, medically-underserved communities. She is an outspoken advocate for survivors of human trafficking and is increasingly called upon for her expertise nationally.
