The flood threat across South Florida increased Sunday as an area of non-tropical low pressure began to approach from the west. This spread heavy, widespread rain into the area Sunday afternoon and into Sunday evening and Monday ahead of Tropical Storm Milton making landfall Wednesday in northern Florida.
