Operator of 51-foot yacht arrested in Florida Keys boat crash that killed 2 men

The operator of a 51-foot yacht that collided into a small boat in an open area of Biscayne Bay back in April, killing two men, has been arrested and charged with vessel homicide, according to authorities.

Roberto Perez, 58, was allegedly behind the wheel of the Azimut cabin cruiser when his vessel hit and partially overrode a 17-foot Key West center console just south of the ICW Featherbed Bank on April 21, an arrest report said.
