In Washington state, deputies arrested a man and woman accused of stealing $11,000 worth of jewelry from a shipping container.
Their escape attempts took a chaotic turn when their car overturned as they tried to flee. They then commandeered a rowboat, which sank before they could get away. The pair ultimately swam to shore, where they were taken into custody.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the stolen jewelry has been recovered.
