A child was hospitalized after being struck by a drone during a holiday aerial show in Orlando on Saturday night, authorities reported.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the incident occurred when several drones collided midair and fell into the crowd. The boy and his family were watching the show when one of the falling drones hit him in the chest, the family told ABC News on Sunday.
The event had been approved by the FAA, which confirmed it is now investigating the incident.
