Annual festival held in Tokyo for people to ‘catch’ good luck

People in downtown Tokyo are hoping to catch good luck. An annual festival has people reaching out to grab bags of beans at a sacred temple. The belief is by catching these blessed beans, it will drive away evil spirits and bring good fortune. Packages of dried soybeans and even rice cakes were thrown out.
